FABER LESSON PRIMER

Piano Adventures Lesson Book Primer Level is an excellent method for beginners! I've found it works best with 6-9 yr old students. The first half of the book is pre-staff reading and a good way to introduce the keyboard. Depending on their practice time, you can move your students through this first portion of the book relatively quickly. Page 34 introduces you to the staff and your students should feel more comfortable at the keyboard by this point. One of my favorite things about this book are the explanations (at the top of most of the pages) that simply define the topic that is being presented. It has saved me from having to write it myself on their assignment book! I like to use all four books Lesson, Performance, Technique and Artistry and Theory for a solid program. It's a great way to start piano lessons!
